Welcome to Outreach Ministry!

There will be preached this gospel of the kingdom to every nation of the world for a witness to all nations.

We have the opportunity to experience God’s purpose through outreach. It is our purpose to make an impact on the lives of people in our communities, countries and all over the world by spreading the Good News of Christ through the Word and by Deed. As part of outreach, social responsibility is combined with spiritual impact. The members of Jesus Comes Ministries have been equipped with spiritual gifts to advance the Kingdom of God in the country and abroad in accordance with the mission of Christ, which is to disciple the church to impact the world.

There is more to outreach than just teaching and sharing the word of God with others. As a follower of Jesus, you are also expected to demonstrate leadership by example, and to provide charity to those who are in need. It is because of this reason that many churches are safe places for homeless individuals, people who are hungry, and needy families who are in need of clothes, books, and other items.

It is estimated that 30% of the homeless population in 2020 will be families with children. A child who is homeless is more likely to suffer from hunger, health problems, and a poor education than one who is not homeless. A large number of homeless families consist of single moms who have left abusive homes with their children and are unable to find a safe home for their children. A larger population of homeless can be seen on the Indian streets.

It is the churches that can provide a secure location for these families, provide food for the homeless, provide free preschool and after-school care for parents, and in many other ways help these families.

Our outreach is to a world in need with the good news of Christ through preaching and charity.

Find out what to expect

Our first understanding is that church isn’t a building, a class, or a service. Scripture says a church gathering is a group of people coming together in Christ, and the people are the church. As Jesus shows us in Matthew 18, a gathering can be as small as two people.

There are usually hymns, scripture verses, and maybe a psalm in the service. The sermon will usually be about the scripture lections assigned for that day if the church follows a lectionary. Holy Communion is usually served every Sunday or several times a month in Eucharistic churches.

There are no rules as to what to bring to church, other than yourself, an open heart and mind. Some bring a bible, if you’re going to engage in bible study.

If you want to know how to dress for our meetings, something modest and comfortable should be fine. We don’t judge you based on what you wear.

Ask your friends if they worship the Savior and invite them to join you. Ask them if they’d like to know more about Jesus Christ and invite them to a Christian worship service. Respect their beliefs the same way you respect yours.
